Completion of the Honda P3

In September 1997, Honda completed the fully independent humanoid P3. It was 160 cm tall and weighed 130 kg, making it smaller and lighter than P2 thanks to new materials and distributed control. It became the direct predecessor of the ASIMO robot. [1][2]
