Introduction of the Honda P2

Japan · Humanoid

In December 1996, Honda introduced P2, the first autonomous bipedal humanoid that walked without falling. It carried its computer, drives and batteries in its torso, so it worked without a cable; it could also handle stairs and push a cart. [1][2]
