Introduction of the Pepper robot

On 5 June 2014, SoftBank Mobile and the French company Aldebaran Robotics introduced the humanoid robot Pepper, which, according to its makers, was to recognise human emotions. It was one of the first humanoids intended for ordinary people and shops. [1][2][3]
